Explore My Journey in Human-Centered Design

Trishia Nashtaran

I am a human-centered design practitioner, futurist, and feminist systems strategist from Bangladesh. For over a decade, I’ve worked with communities, civil society organizations, international development actors, and public institutions to design more inclusive systems and futures. My background spans engineering, strategic foresight, feminist organizing, and social innovation — and over time, these experiences have shaped a practice that combines systems thinking with deep engagement in people’s lived realities. I’m interested not only in solving problems, but in understanding how people make meaning, exercise agency, and imagine alternatives. A simple belief guides my work: the people most affected by a system should play a central role in shaping its future. Whether I’m facilitating a workshop, designing a community initiative, developing a strategy, or supporting institutional change, I try to create processes that are participatory, reflective, and grounded in local knowledge.
